Any plain cake can be dramatically transformed with the addition of a topper.  All my toppers are hand modelled to your personal requirements and I deliver various levels of finish and detail to suit everyone’s pocket.  I have chosen a few here to show the various levels of work undertaken, some of which you may see throughout the other galleries.  All my toppers and starburst kits are available to purchase separately and can be produced in edible or non edible mediums.  Contact me to discuss your personal requirements.

Hand modelled character
Most characters can be produced this way.  This example is a high quality, fully detailed replica which is also fully edible.

Gardener
Brian is the husband of a friend of mine-another keen cake maker,  he is a keen gardener and for his birthday last year Eve commissioned this topper to adorn the lovely cake she had made for him.  This one is all sugar paste and marzipan, with a little bit of chocolate and is mounted on a cake board, it could be removed as a keepsake or eaten.  As with all my toppers it is possible to produce a scene like this in polymer clay or artista soft. 

McPiper
I produced this topper for Barbara, my old college tutor, to adorn one of her beautiful cakes.  It shows another level of modelling with lots of detail.  The base of the hill is a polystyrene dummy mounted on a cake board and so can be removed after the celebration as a keepsake.  This one is made in sugar paste and marzipan but could be made from polymer clay or artista soft which are both inedible mediums but would keep better and for longer.

In the Forest
A fine example of what can be achieved given the right budget.  This, my favourite topper to date, was actually produced as an exam piece during my second year term at Tameside college but would look stunning as a central topper on a cake dressed to match.  Miniature marzipan ‘poisoned apples’ could adorn the tiers and even be served to the guests with coffee!

Black and White Ball
This is a very popular line, often purchased separately to send as a greeting or gift instead of a card or flowers.  Any character dressed to your requirements can be produced on any bottle of beverage.  This example is a lady dressed to match the birthday girl sat on a miniature bottle of champagne.
