It’s not all about cakes here at Cake Corner.  For Easter I decorate chocolate large eggs and small fondant filled eggs with sugar paste and marzipan turning them into characters, smothering them in flowers, personalising them with names and bas relief designs such as ballerina’s, footballs, cars – you name it really, they make fantastic gifts.  Or why not order your simnel cake from me and I will make it that bit extra special for your family celebration.
When Christmas comes around it’s time for edible place settings made from cookies and walnut whips to enhance your festive table.  Why not treat yourself to a cookie bouquet containing all your favourite Christmas characters – a welcome alternative to the old Christmas pud !

Sledging Snowman
This fun novelty cake was created for a family who do not like Christmas cake, each year they have a vanilla sponge decorated with a festive theme.  This one has a hand modelled sugar sledge being driven by a snowman made from a muffin and a chocolate sweet, Santa and Mrs Santa – made from walnut whips are throwing pressies out to the world below. 

Miniature Cakes
These are traditional rich fruit cakes decorated with a layer of marzipan and then a layer of icing ( sugar paste or royal can be used) and decorated with a design of your choice.  They make great gifts or party favours and look fabulous when individually wrapped on your festive table.

Christmas Treats
Here you can see a giant Christmas cookie in the shape of a snowman which is hand decorated in Royal Icing (also available decorated with sugar paste and in other designs) and a place setting for the festive table to match.

Walnut Whips
A festive favourite with my regular customers.  Great to use as place settings, party favours, stocking fillers, bran tub or secret Santa gifts – each can be personalised with a name or short message and come gift wrapped in cello bags with curling ribbon.
