Choosing a theme or design for a man’s cake can be difficult and so in this gallery I have tried to show you a few different ways of using hobbies, interests and even job types as a theme.   I hope you see something to inspire you.  Contact me with your personal requirements or to discuss possible design ideas.

Half Relief Vehicle
Carved from sponge cake and displayed on a 20” by 20” board, this was purchased for Martin’s 40th birthday by his workmates and was to be displayed with pride of place at his surprise party.

Football themed Starburst
This shows the versatility of this design, as seen here it can become a cake for a male football supporter or supporter of any team/sport with just a few changes to the colours and can be personalised as here with a hand made sugar model of the birthday boy.

Science Fiction Theme Cake
This cake was created for an avid fan of a particular science fiction show and depicts the birthday boy-a trainee architect-holding his notepad and pencil in a scene from his favourite episode.

Scottish Piper
This is a topper commissioned by a fellow cake maker who is not a confident model maker.  More toppers can be viewed in the ‘Toppers and More’ Gallery.

Sports themed Stack
Any fans of this particular football team will recognise their mascot on the top of this American style stacked cake which also depicts the birthday boy’s other favourite sports.
