Castle on a Hill
A popular choice with girls of all ages, this design can be built to any size required and could even be made into a boys fortress on a hill with a few tweaks.

Jelly painted character
A brilliant technique for putting a character onto a cake top, works best with simpler designs and as you see here it can be enhanced with some simple sugar flowers or shapes depending on the chosen character.

Bursting Parcel Stack
This design is so versatile, you can choose the colours, shapes sizes and wrapping paper designs for as many parcels as you require.  Here the customer has personalised the cake with a hand made sugar model of the birthday girl holding a sugar plaque for her ‘Sleep Over Club’ which was the party theme.

3D Carved Characters
A brilliant way to bring your child’s favourite character to the party.  Most characters can be made in this way and most sizes are available.  You can also add extra portions by sitting the carved character on top of another cake.

Bas Relief character
Another technique to put your child’s favourite character on to the cake, works best for simple designs.  As seen here the background can be part of the design or you can put the character onto a plain white cake.
